MILITARY CARBINE. Cal. 30 Carb. S# 4286548. 18" bbl marked behind front sight "I.B.M. CORP.". Wide bbl band with wire swivel is unmarked. Straight cut slide is marked "N / 15". Stamped adjustable rear sight marked "J.A.O.". Blade front sight with protective ears is marked "SN". Flat bolt marked "N14". Milled trigger housing is N16, push button safety and straight cut HI hammer. Walnut stock set. Oval cut low wood buttstock. Buttstock has legible boxed "NPM / FJA" with crossed cannons. Marked "Trimble / TN" in sling slot. 2 rivet handguard is also marked "TN". Period green web sling, metal fittings have notable oxidation. MAGS: 1 15-rd GI. CONDITION: stock set with legible markings has light wear and scattered handling marks throughout. Metal retains 70% of its lightly worn thinning original parkerized finish. Bore has strong lands with scattered spots of light oxidation throughout. (26-1355/RW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
